I know this is a common and an old thread.
But I feel that it's necessary to have this thread just to know how the preference of OS for our forum members. So, please vote. Every body, please vote for it.
Perhaps, you would like to share your opinion or experience with us here.
Windows 98 is the best though i use XP and love vista too.
98 is the most user freindly and it was the first OS i worked on
I am using Windows Xp from 3 years ago and i work with it very fine but now when i will buy a new computer i will put vista on it. thnks for replies
I currently use Windows XP just because Im not readu to switch over to Linux. I dont plant to upgrade to Vista when the support for it ends either. But hell..maybe by that time I'll have switched over and be done with Microsoft.

I would have to say that XP is the best i've used so far..but Windows 98 SE comes a close second-was a very stable operating system. Never had the chance to use Linux for a long period..Vista is off-the-mark for me, would take me some convincing before I opt for it right now.
Using XP and would continue with it for sometime now. Looking for the SP3 release. Liked Win98 very much, but Xp is great.

In my opimion Windows XP is the best OS at the moment.
Vista is Ok but i will not install it for a few months more.
It is because of drivers issues and incompatibility with some XP software...
I have installed both linux and windows XP. Windows XP is user friendly and easy to work with while Linux Operating System is more reliable , secure, dependable and scalable operating system. Everyone should be agree with that.
windows XP and Kubuntu (linux)
i peeronally have a dual boot system
1st OS is windows XP ( crystal XP version)
2nd O.S is Windows Vista Ultimate edition.
I also had installed ubuntu for few months , but removed it few weeks ago
