Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger ?

None of above. Mainly Skype as it is very convenient right now. Sometimes Google Talk, and to contact some specific people I use ICQ.

I use MSN Messenger most frequently, along with IRC (although this isn't technically an instant messaging software.) as the majority of my friends are on MSN.

IMHO, I feel instead of using both the messengers I prefer using Pidgin. Its a small program, really light and lets you log on to more than 10 accounts simultaneously. It also supports gtalk.

YM i use much ( i prefer 7.5 version actually as it is not having ad in bottom ;)

newer versions of YM takes lot of memory and the ads in the bottom also look ugly

gtalk is best for personal chat because no ad , no graphics simply super and fast

i use ICQ the most and then comes Yahoo messenger... i like the soothing skin of ICQ but i like the smilies of yahoo more.... all in all i wish both of them were integrated in features and performance...

I started with MSN, ICQ, Yahoo, AIM, Gtalk and then Skype but now i only use MSN and Yahoo. Have not used ICQ for long long time i even forgot my ICQ number password etc.

Yahoo is a memory hog. It almost consumes double the memory of what MSN consumes but none the less its good.

I use yahoo messenger on daily basis.I liked the newer version of yahoo messenger for windows vista.
It has very nice options with the help of that you can enjoy the chatting with your friends.It is improved in the themes and smiley's section and looks good on my windows vista bu consumes large space.
This newer version is little buggy ,it does not have same (good)features as they are in the normal yahoo messenger.
I haven't use the msn messenger yet so can't tell much about it!

I have all 4 installed on my comp - Skype, MSN Messenger, Yahoo & Google Talk. The best I feel is MSN - traditional habits, I guess. I really like the feature of both Yahoo & Skype - especially love those emotions on Yahoo. Google Talk is really handy while surfing orkut.

I Used To Use Yahoo Messenger. But Not Now. Now A Days I'm Using Skype,MSN LIVE,Gtalk. And In Them I Find Gtalk Is Better(Its Simple Looking) And Skype For Voice Messages.

I use none...coz they are bandwidth and resource suckers...

It's light open source multi protocol software via which i can use any IM service...

I use all of them. Cause I use Trillian. Hence I get the honor to access all the above(almost). Beside that, I use YM as it has a better chatting option available.

I am using Yahoo Messnerger because 95 % people of my country are using Yahoo Messenger. I like it because is simple and very useful. I never tried Msn but i heard that it is good like yahoo.

I stand with Dexter on this issue..BOTH Yahoo and MSN are resource suckers!! And whats even worse..the longer they stay active..the more resources they suck!! Granted..At times I do have to use Yahoo..only due to the fact that many still dont have Skype.

msn is very popular in my country... is one good program

I never used MSN Messenger, I just use Yahoo!Messenger or Skype. Most of my friends using Yahoo!Messenger anyway, so I never bother to try MSN Messenger or other programs.

GoogleTalk and Yahoo Messenger for me..Easy and light. MSN messenger is just too heavy for me. Plus it downloads updates without even asking for my consent! I use Yahoo messenger just when i need to conference with friends..

I using Yahoo Messengge frequently for my instant messengging. Because a lot of my fren is over there. I think i'm comfortable on YM. Not problem at all.
