Where Book marks will be saved in firefox ?

Where Book marks will be saved in firefox ?
any body know where the book maks will be saved in firfox ?
wrt ie these will be saved in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Favorites in normal file , dir structure
but the same is not true wrt firfox ?
i can programmatically create favorites for ie now unable to do for firefox :(
any idea would be appreciated :)

Here..instead of trying to tell you the exact sequence....if you go to firefoxes main page..and search in help....it will tell you..and once you know...remember it well....because..every now and then...Firefox will burp...and the bookmarks will disappear.
But I wouldnt use any other browser!

bookmarks will be saved in your firefox profile,
this will be located in
c:\documents and settings\username\application data\firefox\
I have a lot of bookmark i dont want to loose them ..Bcoz i need to format my system if i do that i will loose can any one help me regarding this issue....Is there any way to get the booksmarks to be safely placed ...
