What do you think of the new glossy screens?

To all of you who have used a notebook with a glossy screen (HP BrightView, Acer CrystalBright, Sony X-Black and so on):
Generally, what do you think of the new glossy screens?
Do they reflect much of the background when you are working with the computer indoor (not in an office enviroment)? Do you think that the blank/glossy screens are annoying when you work with a computer with a such screen?
Would you recomend anyone to buy a notebook with a glossy screen? (I'm thinking of buying a Sony Vaio with an X-Black glossy screen).
On This one..I stand with Admin....Ive seen the glossy screens ..and truthfully..they suck. But then again., I'm also not a laptop enthusiast either. Thats my wifes arena...Ohh arent the little computers soo cute!!

I have a laptop with glossy screen - it was a result of rush buy :). I wouldn't recommend monitor with glossy screen to anyone as it really reflects background badly. The only good results are when you look at straight (90 degree angle) to the screen. Outdoors are even worse.
Choose only matte screen if you want good results.
