Well, I used Mcafee and Norton firewall before. But I am afraid that using two programs at one time may cause conflict to my computer. So at the time being I stick with Norton.

I currently use the default windows firewall and windows defender in VISTA. But the best firewall is COMODO. Never let anyone down. works like charm and its FREE too.

Kaspersky firewall gives a lot of problem so i switch it off.

I am using Windows firewall for both of my operating systems and I haven’t faced any trouble since past three years(three years on windows XP)
I have tried some free firewalls like Zone alarm but I could not carry on with those applications because of some drawbacks over each other so I preferred to have window firewall only and now working very smoothly….

Well, I feel the Windows Firewall is best for Personal Computers. I have it as well as Panda Firewall running simultaneously. However, some of these firewalls may pose as a nuisance to many of the users in many ways. I feel, a computer is protected well enough if it has Windows Firewall enabled.

Right now i’m using windows default one which comes along with SP2. i’m just using it for surfing and for chichat so i think i don’t need any personal firewall.

Basically there are two good and free firewall. These two are:
    1) comodo firewall
    2) Zone alarm free firewall.

Both are very good, but I will give +1 to comodo firewall. It is great firewall, and even better than many paid firewall. I am using it for more than 2 years, and well satisfied with it.
