Question: when is the best time to do defrag?

I just learned about defraging my computer, and I think I really need to do it,as my computer run so slow now.The problem is, i stopped the optimization in the process… is that bad?

Also when is the best time to do defrag?

    do it at nite and once u get up in the mornin it l be donei do the same…;P

    Deframent put all your files together in a sequence on hard disk. This increased the read and write speed. It is adviced to do it once in a weekly basis
