Question: USB Wireless LAN adapter VS PCI wireless LAN adapter

I think to buy wireless LAN adapter but I dont know what is better PCI or USB adapter? Can anybody share exparence about it?

    Hi Stygius,

    I tried some wireless LAN adapters and I extremly suggest to buy PCI wireless card, but if you need WLAN card on laptop you should choose expencive because cheap products are very straw. I bought POINT of WIEV USB LAN adapter and I am very disappointed on it. Even seller refused to change it because it works but very unstable. I can’t work on internet, because it is disconnectining all the time.

    I feel wireless networks are always slow. at least in india. just choose the top most best one to avoid problems. at least you won’t be facing problem much if you buy the top branded one.

    Stygius…what you havent told us..is ..how old are the machines?…Correct me if Im wrong…but damn..most machines for the past few years already have the ethernet port…especially if you are going to be using DSL or cable..

    Maybe a bit more info..would help here
