Question: need some advice for Ram speed on laptop
Ram speeds on laptops
If my memory is at 400mhz, does that mean i have to buy 400mhz memory? or if i buy a faster memory it will down clock itself to work with my laptop?

c the thing is if u buy a ram of 400 mhz u can get dual channel and if u buy of same brand same freq and same latency u get performance as compared to differnt brand..if u take a higher one u get BSOD and mti screw ur board..btw it ll run at a slower freq if they are differnt..
