Question: Mail from script

hi!!

i’ve been trying to send a mail using a form mail script i made… it works fine as long as i don’t use html tags in it… but when i use the tags they work fine if the mail is forwarded to my gmail account but shows the html tags if i read it in my squirrel mail.. kindly help..

    It is due to the the scripting language used by two different services.
    You can remove the html tags and check it again!

    Hi,

    Could possibly be because Squirrel Mail doesn’t display emails in HTML format, but simply as Plain Text.

    It has nothing (unless you post your script) to do with your script.

    What you could do to eliminate your script as the cause, is to send an E-mail from your Gmail account to your Squirrel account, using bold, italics etc. in the E-mail. If the mail displays the HTML tags in Squirrel, you know it is to do with Squirrel and not your script.
