Question: help me with Folder Option

I have this problem from about one month. I have tried many things but yet it is not solved. Did many scaning, but yet no solution.

 

My problem is that, I cannot see my hidden files and also cannot enable "Show hidden files and folder" in folder option.

 

Please give me a perfect solution.

    Congratulations, you have successfully been attacked by virus!!!

    Sorry for the joke, now to the point. Install antivurs and scan your pc for virus. To change the "Show hidden files and folder" option correctly, you can do the following.

    Go to registry editor by running regedit in the run box. Go to this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

    In the right hand area, double click hidden and change the value to 1.

    Now you’re all set to go. Check it in your tools menu if the changes have taken effect.

    I have the same problem and i have Nod32 antivirus but it seams that it can not detect any virus.

    Please can you advice me for what anti-virus software i should look in this case.?

    And thanks for reg edit info.

    Yes follow the guide from user #1. It will solve your problem. The best way is change back your registry key to normal.
