    2) Go to Tools –> Folder Option
    3) Go to Offline Tab.
    4) Press SHIFT key + Delete button together. The system will require you to restart. Restart your pc and the you will get more free drive space.

use a free software to clean up your system! There are many temp files which one does not know about! also, the prefetch folder can be emptied regularly!

If you have not already done, then remove the Hibernate file from the windows drive. It is equale in size of your ram and generally created with the WinXP Setup. To remove it, go to power option in control panel and select Hibernate tab. Click the ble checkbox off, if it is on.

you can also do one or two tricks more!
    1. disable system restore
    2. shift the page file to some other drive!
    :)
    hope it helps!
