Question: Enabling SSL2 in Firefox

As you know that firefox > 1.5 doesnot allow you to login into SSL2 secured websites. here is a little tweak to get rid of that

The Tweak

  • Start Mozilla Firefox
Type in about:config in the address bar.
  • Now in the page that comes up type in “ssl2” in the Filter textbox. You will get something filtered options. Now set them all to true
  • You are done. Now try opening whatever site you were trying to open earlier.
