Question: DDR2 667MHZ vs. 800MHZ

Is there any serious speed difference between DDR2 at 667MHZ and 800MHZ?

My friend claims that it is less than few percents? And that it cant be noticed in work.

But if you motherboard supports 800Mhz, so why would you want to put 667MHZ RAM? I thing there is no noticeable difference in price.

The numbers tell the story. There is a significant speed differance when you campare both. There shouldnt be much price difference between the two
