Question: 500gigs..What the heck would you do with it?
I have video's, pictures and tonnes of music files on my laptop and I am nowhere near filling up that a ount of space. You would have to be downloding a heck of a lot of programs to need that much!
Question: What is the best Laptop?
Garyearle is probably right, why not a desktop? My laptop is great for the ease, though the battery life really bothers me! I have a Sony VGN.

I don't think it will be anything to do with agricultural colleges and life sciences at all.

I have to agree really, it's constantly up on my screen at work. I'm surprised at the amount of people whi have such open profiles though!
Question: Lock your computer
I don't think it's hassle, not once you have made the shortcut. I think it's easier to double click this with the mouse than ctrl alt del together, but having said that, I haven't done it yet.
