When a users try to print from a PDF to a network printer from a specific computer, the adobe program errors out and closes (adobe v. 8.1). I have done some troubleshooting and narrowed it down some:
This printing error only occurs when trying to print PDFs. Any other type of document will print out just fine.
This error only occurs when users are printing from the specific computer to the specific printer. If another computer tries to print a PDF to the same network printer, it will print out fine. If the computer that is receiving the error prints to another printer, then the PDF will print out fine.
Thus, it appears that the problem is with Adobe Acrobat Reader on the specific computer. I uninstalled and reinstalled Reader, performed a repair installation, and deleted/readded the network printer. Nothing seems to work, and the Adobe forums just say delete/readd the program, or delete/readd the printer.
