When I use TinyMCE on my web forms and try to validate that the text area is not empty, it doesn’t work.

i.e. there is text in the box but it says it’s empty.

If I remove TinyMCE then my validation javascript/jquery recognises properly that the textarea is not empty hence won’t throw the error.

Any ideas on what’s happening here ?

I’m struggling a little with setting up pretty permalinks for some of the pages I’ve setup on one of my new plugins.

If I have a file in my theme which is currently being called as:

new-page.php?user=spartan&id=12

How do I set this up using wp_rewrite so that it might look something like this.

/new-page/spartan/12/

If someone could post some sample code with the various actions and filters I need to setup that would be great.

I’ve honestly looked at the codex but it’s makes no sense to me.

Now, I know Windows 7 has a hard time reading Vista partitions (which can easily be fixed by manually assigning a drive letter to that partition) but I have a different problem.

I have a 1TB External drive, with all my backups, software etc on it. The partition was created in Vista, a normal NTFS partition. It works well under XP as well.

But Windows 7….*sigh*…it detects the drive, assigns a drive letter as well, but when I try to browse the drive, it says that it is not formatted, and needs to be formatted. Take the drive out, plug it into a Vista or XP system, and it works no problem.

Any suggestions, ideas?

What do you think about Google’s attemt to make its “Chrome” browser as default internet browser in new computers. This can become truth asn antimonopoly laws can’t always be on Microsofts side.
