Lock your computer
This is a interesting piece of info that you can use to lock your work-stations without using the combo key "CTRL- ALT- DEL"
If CTRL-ALT-DELETE seems like too much of a hassle, try this instead:
1.Right click an empty spot on the desktop, point to New and click shortcut.
2.. In the Create Shortcut dialog box, type the following into the Type the location of the item text box:
"rundll32 user32.dll,LockWorkStation" // remove quotes while typing//
3.. Click Next.
4.. In the Select a Title for the Programm dialog box, type "Lock Desktop" in the Type a name for this shortcut text box.
5.Click Finish.
Now the desktop will lock when you click your new Lock the Desktop icon.
very interesting, my I need have my intimate.
thank you very much for your help
YEs this is an useful trick. Thnks. This computer is used by me and sister and both have differnt partitions. And i will put a password on mine :D thnks
I don't think it's hassle, not once you have made the shortcut. I think it's easier to double click this with the mouse than ctrl alt del together, but having said that, I haven't done it yet.
This option is very useful if your computer in the LAN environment. On your LAN should have more PC and more user. So by doing this option will will lock your computer when you leave your computer and it will safe all you important data by opening by others people.
