Integrated GPU, real speed?
I am plannig to buy Motherboard with integrated GPU. I see there are 3 GPUs on the market from nVidia. 6100, 6150, and 7050.
I guess 7050 is the best but is there any chances to play games with this card?
What is the speed compared to some well known GPUs like Radeon 9600pro or fx5200?
Significant difference as integrated GPU usually share share same RAM as main CPU. If you plan to play games I would suggest to invest some more more money an buy PC with separate GPU board. In other hand you can buy motherboard with integrated... just be sure there is a slot for PCI-E GPU board if you will decide to boost your system. But sometimes there may rise conflicts between GPU and integrated one.
I would not suggest going for an integrated GPU. A separate graphics card is definitely the way to go if you plan on gaming. Integrated GPU's are not nearly as powerful as the latest NVidia and ATI Radeon GFX cards and the latest games really require a decent graphics card to work them..
yes, you should go for a graphics card separately to play high-end games whose requirements are very high! this will also lead to less load on your system!
Hmm, i will reconsider posibility to buy separate GPU as it seams that integrated GPU-s are not sutable for 3DĀ gameing at all.
Thanks for your advices.
I cant see why anyone ."Building"..would even consider integrated anything!.....Its a system drainer!!..But,,,as youve already seen....that pretty much is the most spoken opinion.
With the costs of decent video cards ..there really is no need to travel down the...ughhh..integrated road.
Weel you see, actually it is office system so it is not primarily set for the games.
But i wantd to know is there any chance to play anything on integrated GPU.
Thanks
IGP solutions are just for the sake of people who don't have money to buy a dedicated gfx card. If u really wanna game then u should but a dedicated one. though the 7050 & also now the 3200 IGP are better than entry level gfx cards
THE HIGH TECH DAILY
When ur really short of budget or waiting for teh prices to come down then U can go for IGP bt trust me u cannot play high end games in mid high settings... u can go for gigabyte board wit onbaord 3200 IGP wihch u can hybrid wit u r pci express graf card...
