Installing IE6 over IE7

I have been using internet explorer 7 for quite some time now and didn't find it to be good or rather better than IE6 !

how do i un-install IE7 and get back to IE6? i don't have set-up files of either! do i need to download them?

Find the Internet Explorer for freee on the Internet 1st. Go to here - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyI...
Then uninstall I.E 7.0 . Install your I.E 6.0 with the file dowmloaded from above url.

Hi,

If IE 7 came installed with your OS or Service Pack (ie. SP3) then unfortunately you cannot remove IE 7 from your machine.

If you installed IE 7 over IE 6 in the first place, then you can simply uninstall IE 7 and IE 6 will be your default.

This can be achieved by simply going to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, and then looking for IE 7 in the list and clicking uninstall or remove.

Installed IE7 now can't access the internet

Recently installed IE7 (windows xp) but now I can't seem to get on to the internet without not selecting add-ons. This now means that where I had things like yahoo, google etc. on the tool bar has now gone. Would I have to go back to IE6 to get the toolbar up and working again or, is there another way round this using IE7. Thanks
