How to view and delete temporary internet files
Ok this was easy, Temporary internet files are files that use by your browser which you using firefox or internet explorer to stored the page that you visited on your hard drive, where if you deleted the file it can increase the perfomance of your computer.
so what you need to do is :
click on tools -> internet options -> settings in the Browsing History section -> View files
To delete these files, Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> select Delete in the Browsing History section -> besides Internet Temporary Files -> Delete files ... and confirm
Internet explorer is pretty easy, but how to view temporary Firefox files? Where are these files physically stored in Hard Drive? I had no luck finding them.
firefox stores all files in the following folder
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ProfileName\Cache
but they are encrypted so u cant directly view

I recommend downloading the freeware application 'CCleaner', which can be found at http://www.ccleaner.com.
CCleaner is a small program that cleans up worthless and unneeded system files. Cached files, temporary internet files, etc, all these are cleaned, it's very useful. It also includes a registry cleaner, if your gonna use this I advise backing up the registry though (It does give you an option to do this in program.)
Hope this helps someone.

Feel free to PM me for help, I can give it a go.
There's one simple thing I do when using Firefox in any Cafe or at someone else's place. Simply go to Tools>Clear Private Data and you can delete everything you want to. This more or less does the trick.
But at the same time, to be completely secure, you can also use CCleaner , especially if you use Internet Explorer. :)
I use both firefox and IE. To view firefox temporary files open a new tab and there type "about:cache" (without "") There you will see: Disk cache device Number of entries: Maximum storage size: Storage in use: Cache Directory: List Cache Entries. Click on List cache entries
oh that's really great!! though i know how to find temp files if internet explorer since i was a little kid but finding the files for firefox and opera has really been a pain in the ass :D
thanks for the help guys :)
Yeah very nice tip to find the temporary internet files on the computer.
I used to use it earlier on my firefox browser but some time ago I forgot this trick.....so thanks
I use the internet history eraser tool to delete all the data from browser. It is very helpful tool and I will recommend you guys to go for it and download trial version and have an experience.I know you will like it!
To permanently clean those files, I recommend CCleaner. Sometimes, I have experienced that virus's/sypwares are stored in those files. I make it a point to delete them before I close the browser.
