How to refill inkjet cartridges

Some times you find out that some kits for refill printer are different, but you will be delighted to know that the process for each one is the practically the same. If you find it difficult to refill inkjet cartridge as you don't have any past experience, then you don't worry. This process is very simple; you just have to follow simple steps which are given below:

1. The first step is the preparation of workspace. The process is done on a desk, so to prevent any mess on your desk you have to lay out a newspaper on your desk. If you can refill the inkjet cartridge at a sink then it is also best for you. If you don't want to use sink then keep some paper towels handy.

2. Take a syringe and fix a needle at the end of it. Do remember that you don't mix up all the needles, use separate syringes to keep all the colors true. But it is not necessary to use separate syringes when you are refilling black ink.

3. In your printer refill kit, you will also find a pair of latex gloves. If you are going without those gloves then it is not a good idea to refill inkjet cartridge. In order to save your hands from color, latex gloves are used other wise it is difficult to remove ink from the hands.

4. Use the syringe to extract ink from the refill ink bottle. Avoid rushing this process, take your time otherwise all things are messed up.

5. Hold the syringe filled with ink in one hand and have the cartridge upright in another hand. But as you were told earlier, it is better to do this process at the sink so as to avoid any problem.

6. Now start injecting the ink gradually by placing the end of a needle slowly at the opening of the cartridge. As you start injecting, you will surely hear some air leaving the cartridge. When you hear the air bubbles rise to the top along with the ink then it's time to stop.

7. Carefully read the whole manual as this process doesn't apply to all the cartridges. In some cases whenever you want to inject the ink, you will definitely need to seal to the top hole. Usually this is not happened; the air replaces the ink when ever it comes into the cartridge. Also same process is done when the air leaves the exit point.

8. Do give a final touch to the inkjet cartridge as this ensures that there is no leakage. If you find any mess then use paper towel to wipe it.

9. In some cases you will be instructed to enlarge the refill hole while in other cases you have to pump air out of the cartridges before use. In case of some differences, it is advised to read and follow the whole manual.

10. You will inject the ink back in to the bottle if you find any ink left in the syringe. Keep your kit in a dry and cool place and make sure that you must clean up the ink, leaked on your work area.
