A quick and easy way to find out how much memory you have installed, or how much free memory available:Click startruntype "cmd" (without the quotes)press enterIn the new windows that opened (the command prompt window) type "mem"press enterThis information will offer you a text version of your available memory. if you prefer a windows interface to display your memory, open control panel, and then the system icon. The right lower side will tell you how much memory you have installed.
