Sometimes you just need to create a simple presentation, but the only tool is an internet browser. Not a problem at all because you can use Google documents page where you can create rich text documents, spreadsheets and even presentations.
- Probably you already have a gmail account, so all you need is to go to http://doc.google.com and log in to it. If not, just register.
-
When you are in google documents page you can start creating a presentation. Simply select New and select Presentation.

- As you will notice this action opens new web window with first white background slide. You may select different theme by pressing Change Theme where you can select different presentation theme:

- Now you can add slide title and text by simply pressing directly on text fields located in slide.

- You can add more slides by simply pressing New slide button on top menu bar.
- Let’s add an image to make presentation look cool. For this pres Insert image and then new dialog box opens where you need to select image from your local computer that will be uploaded and added to slide.

By pressing OK image will be uploaded and added automatically to slide.
- When image is in place you can edit it – resize by simply dragging image corners, set the order according to other images in slide.

- How to demonstrate this presentation to other people. There is a simple solution for this – embedding slideshow directly to your webpage. For this click Save and then Publish and then press on button Publish document. This action will generate a code that can be pasted directly in to your webpage html code after <body> tag:

Google will generate a nice slide viewer that looks cool in your website.
- To stop publishing – just press the button Stop publishing which is located below generated code and slide will not be accessible to others.
