Does anyone Benchmark their machines?
I'm just curious thats all. If you do..Ild be curious to know what you use. I am taking some older machines and trying my hand at some overclocking. So I would like to be able to do a before and after. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I agree that its usage is limited....but...when you can pick up older units for almost pennies..and I mean models that are only a few years old...and especially for use with the kids..I just cant resist dabbling to see exactly what they will do. Kind of like taking an old car and turning it into a street machine!

Do we need over clocking these days. I used to overclock my video adapter with my older computer, but once I sold it and bought new - I don't feel I need to do so, as It gives more than enough speed. And to do overclocking - you need proper hardware (especially mother board and right colling).
In other hand I agree it is cool to see the limits of your system :)
