The action of checking computers, network and systems is called network monitoring.  SMS which is commonly known as a network monitor is a part of Microsoft system management server. All the applications, switches, servers, wide area networks (WAN) and local area networks (LAN) are supervised by this network monitor. Through network monitoring system entrepreneurs are easily able to monitor there business and improvise there network.

If you are running a small business for 3 to 5 years then obviously you have to figure out its marketing and networking as well. If you find your business is going great, it doesn't mean that your networking is great and you don't have to make small or large modifications or don't even try to monitor it. Networking more than one computer is done for various purposes. The primary reason is to access the file that is located in a remote computer. When the computers are connected in a network then accessing data across different computers became very easier. For performing larger computations, data is spread across different computers called nodes and these computers perform different parts of the computation and the final computation is completed by the main server.

Networking refers to interconnection of computer systems for the purpose of sharing data. When computers are connected to a network the data that is present in one computer can be easily accessed from another computer. To build a network various hardware and software components are used.

Most hardware of WLAN have got so easy enough to configure that many users just plug it in and begin using that network neglecting the security. Nevertheless, taking several extra minutes to set up the security issues of the access point or wireless router is time worth spent.

Although the term "wireless network" is used loosely, in fact there are three different kinds of network.

• Wide Area Networks, which the cellular carriers create,
• Wireless Local Area Networks, that you would create, and
• Personal Area Networks, which create themselves.
