A brief about Computer Aided Manufacturing

Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) have its roots to a technology developed in the year 1950 and was known as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) in which the computers were fed with data and it registered the implied commands in ‘punched paper tape'. Today CAM allows a product designer or a manufacturer to interact with the computer and give commands. As per the instructions of the manufacturer the computer can give the necessary outputs.
