Blue Screen

Blue Screen

Hello all,

I bought this laptop back in 2006 and haven't had any problems with it so far. Now it seems like every 6 hours or so it will randomly blue screen, restart, and start back up like nothing ever happened. This has been happening for about 3 days now. My comp specs are as follows:

Windows XP SP2
HP AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile
1.81 GHz
2GB RAM

I figured this had to be a hardware problem but i ran my diagnostic test (that came built in the BIOS) last night and i woke up and it was 100% fine. So right now im pretty clueless.

Here is one of the dump reports:

Re: Blue Screen

well blue screen has nothing to do with software
its totally a hardware problem
most of the blue screen errors are due to faulty RAM , so check ur RAM, if u have warranty remaining for ur Laptop get it replaced

Re: Blue Screen

NSOD occurs when the memory pointer is nt able to get the location it is searchin for mostly due to faulty ram as saggy suggested if ur ina waranty period get it replaced..

Re: Blue Screen

Did you try to install any hotfix , software or any upgrade driver. if yes then uninstall that and check if the problem is fixed. If you cant remember try system restore and restore back to the day when you knew the computer was working fine.
