DIY Ultra Strong Wifi Predator
Being frustrated of having a poor wifi reception in your living/working area?
You can easily kick the above problem aside with a Wifi Predator.
Those materials you need to prepare:
- Buffalo WHR-HP-G54.
- HyperLink 2.4GHz 14.5 Yagi Antenna with N-Female Connection.
- Reverse Polarity SMA Male to Male N-type adapter.
- Sears's Ultra-Cheap camera tripod.
- Misc screws & Velcro mounting strips.
You need to pay attention to the four important steps:

Step1: Preparation
Create a working directory on your computer. Windows user make
‘c:\predator' while OSX/Linux users make ‘~/predator'. Download the "AutoAP" firmware and plug in WHR-HP-G54 then connect your computer via Cat5 network cable.
Step2: TFTP Flash
Open two command windows and ping the first command window permanently with ‘ping -t 192.168.11.1'. Change the second command window's directory where you saving the AutoAP firmware.
Step3: Predator's Configuration
Go to the http://192.168.1.1 and login with:
username: root
pw: admin
Then, Go to Administration / Factory Defaults / Check "Yes" to Restore Factory Defaults and click SAVE. You need to enable "Universal Wireless Repeater Mode" and make this work.
Step4: Predator Assembling
