Adobe Reader won't work? What settings to change to resolve this on Windows Vista

If you're the kind of power-user who turns off User Account Control, or if you log on right into the default administrator account, you might notice that Adobe Reader 8 won't install after download

Here's how you fix this problem.

1. Click Start

2. Click the Control Panel option

3. Click User Accounts

4. Click User account control option to ON

vista user accounts turn on

5. Restart your computer

6. Install Adobe Reader

7. When istallation is complete you can turn User account control on or off

You should now be able to use Adobe Reader without any problems
