Vista has a User Access Control option which prevents malicious softwares and spyware from auto-installing. In actual use I found it to be pretty nagging so I decided to tweak it a bit. Those of you who are not well conversant with Windows please do not try this. For the rest of you heres how to do it.
Step 1: From Start search bar, type "Local Security Policy" or for the old school style hit"Windows+R", Run dialog opens up, type in "secpol.msc" to launch Security Policies window.
Step 2: Accept elevation prompt.
Step 3: Now select "Local Policy | Security Options".
Step 4: On the right-hand side of the window, click once and hit "U" to rundown instantly to "User Account Control".
Step 5: Select "User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval mode" next to which is indicated "Prompt for consent".
Step 6: Double-click that and change it to "Elevate without Prompting".
That does it. Now the UAC won’t bother you with security warnings at the same time it isn’t OFF.
